What will be some future trends in measuring and evaluating training?

I don't think that there will be much change in how we measure and evaluate training in the near term. When forecasting future changes, it's good to look at forces that are likely to drive change and those that will likely oppose it. In this case, I think there are more oppositional forces at play and the status quo is likely to be maintained. The status quo is that relatively few people in our field are measuring and evaluating training results in a meaningful and valuable way. I don't think it's because there's no desire to do so but rather, too many things get in the way.
