Your Spotify playlist—Jack Johnson Beach Jams—is the perfect background soundtrack to set the mood for open, relaxed conversation. And in this mellow moment—you are the world’s most superb hostess. Until suddenly, one of the guests inexplicably grabs your phone, changes the playlist to Dave’s Dive Bar Favs, and cranks it up. Oh, no he didn’t. Everyone knows that (1) it is way too early for Journey and (2) when it’s your party, it’s your playlist.
