The Implementing Cisco Enterprise Network Core live training sessions explore the topics required for the popular CCNP Enterprise certification. This is the core exam for that certification and also serves as the new CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure written qualification exam. This course also assists students interested in achieving their CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Enterprise Wireless, and/or their Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core certifications. The topics covered in this course are not just critical for success in the Cisco Certification space but are also core topics for network engineers that want to be able to implement and support enterprise-scale network topologies.

Prerequisites

  • Students should possess their CCNA (200-301) certification or should possess the equivalent knowledge. This includes a knowledge of Layer 2, Layer 3, IP Services, and network programmability basics as well as automation.

Course Set-up:

  • Students should have a high-bandwidth Internet connection in order to enjoy this live, online event. No specific network equipment is required.

  • Students should consider exploring one of the various concentration areas following completion of this course. These include Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (ENARSI), Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions (SDWAN300), Designing Cisco Enterprise Networks (ENSLD), Designing Cisco Enterprise Wireless Networks (ENWLSD), Implementing Cisco Enterprise Wireless Networks (ENWLSI), or Implementing Automation for Cisco Enterprise Solutions (ENAUI).

About your instructor

  • Anthony Sequeira (CCIE No. 15626) began his IT career in 1994 with IBM in Tampa, Florida. He quickly formed his own computer consultancy, Computer Solutions, and then discovered his true passion - teaching and writing about Microsoft, Cisco and related technologies. Anthony has lectured to massive audiences around the world while working for Mastering Computers, and he is currently a freelance trainer and author. He is an avid tennis player, a private pilot, a semi-professional poker player, and enjoys many other hobbies.

  • Participants will learn key QoS principles for wireless and wired networks. They will also discuss hardware and software switching mechanisms found in the modern enterprise network.

Segment 3 Virtualization Length (100min)

  • Participants will learn to describe and implement key virtualization technologies including device, data path, and network virtualization.

  • Participants will learn to implement key Layer 2 technologies such as trunking, RSTP, and MST.

  • Participants will learn to implement key Layer 3 technologies including interior and exterior routing protocols.

Segment 6 Wireless Length (100min)

  • Participants will learn to describe key wireless principles used in today‚Äôs wireless LANs of the enterprise. They will also learn to troubleshoot common connectivity issues.
