Getting Started: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator

Glenn Weadock

Many organizations are moving some or even all of their on-premises network resources to the cloud, and for Microsoft shops, that often means Microsoft Azure. IT professionals who are grounded in on-premises networking need to develop their cloud management skills and prove those skills to their employers. This training explains the Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator certification, outlines the key topics, previews what to expect in the exam room, and offers tried-and-true study tips honed through years of taking and writing Microsoft courses.

What you'll learn-and how you can apply it

By the end of this live, hands-on, online course, you’ll understand:

  • How the Azure Administrator certification fits in Microsoft’s certification path
  • The main topics covered by the AZ-103 exam, which ones are emphasized and the major concepts that distinguish Azure administration from on-premises administration
  • Study methods and resources to prepare for the exam
  • What’s new in the exam as of changes made in May 2019

And you’ll be able to:

  • Identify your knowledge gaps for Azure administration
  • Outline the fundamentals of Azure subscriptions, groups, resources, and roles
  • Prepare for the time management challenges of the MC:AAA exam

This training course is for you because...

  • You’re an administrator whose organization is moving to Azure
