Peter Norvig speaks with Abu Qader, the 18-year-old CTO of GliaLab who taught himself machine learning and launched an AI company for breast cancer diagnostics.
Abu Qader is an 18-year old visionary and entrepreneur with a passion for innovation in fields such as healthcare. He is the current CTO of GliaLab, an artificial intelligence company utilizing artificial intelligence to build an image analytics platform that can detect and diagnose anomalies within a variant of medical images such as mammograms. His fields of interest lie in cognitive science as well as artificial intelligence. He has been awarded the Fifty for the Future awards alongside being featured at Google IO and a TEDxTeen speaker in London. He is also a Posse Scholar heading to Cornell University in the fall.
