Bolke de Bruin and Hylke Hendriksen explain how, by considering a user’s click path a followed process, ING applied process mining and adapted it to Spark Streaming. This resulted in near real-time fraud detection and analysis.
Hylke was born in 1990 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. In high school his hobbies were tinkering around with electronics and microcontrollers. Programming for these microcontrollers, in addition to web programming, resulted in the choice to attend Computer Science at the Delft University of Technology. Courses on distributed computing and data analysis resulted in an great interest in data science. After performing his graduate thesis project at the ING Wholesale Banking Advanced Analytics Team on Real Time Anomalous Click Path Detection, Hylke is now implementing this in one of the payments engines.
