Richard is a the CEO and co-founder of Fresh Tilled Soil, a Boston based product design firm. The company designs user experiences and digital products for its category leader clients. Over the last ten years Fresh Tilled Soil has designed and built over 600 websites, web apps and SaaS products. Clients have included Intel, Harvard, Titleist, Constant Contact, Cigna, Rethink Robotics, Jibo and hundreds more. Design Leadership is his second book published by O’Reilly. The first was Design Sprint: A Practical Guidebook for Building Great Digital Products, which he coauthored with CTodd Lombardo and Trace Wax.
