Rafael is the CTO of datawire.io. He is a co-author of the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) specification and primary architect of the open source Apache Qpid Proton project. Prior to Datawire, he was a principal software engineer at Red Hat, working on messaging technologies.
