Anoop Dawar is responsible for bringing enterprise grade production ready Hadoop distribution to our customers at MapR Technologies. Anoop comes to MapR from Aerohive Networks where he was responsible for product management of all hardware and virtual platforms. During his tenure from 2011-2013, Aerohive grew roughly four fold in revenue and employees and established itself as a leader in a new category of cloud managed enterprise networking. Anoop has over a decade of experience in systems software engineering, product management and customer operations. Prior to Aerohive, Anoop was at Cisco where his last role was to lead the software product management for a $3.5B switching product line with over 500 engineers.
Anoop received a Masters in Computer Science from University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
