Ben is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fundrise, the largest direct-to-consumer alternative investment platform in the U.S., and Co-Founder of RealAI. Founded in 2012, Fundrise serves 2 million+ users investing across real estate, private credit, and venture capital strategies, with nearly $3.5 billion in equity under management. In 2026, the Fundrise Innovation Fund (NYSE: VCX) listed on the New York Stock Exchange, making it one of the first venture capital funds to trade on a major U.S. exchange. Prior to Fundrise, Ben was managing partner of WestMill Capital Partners and President of Western Development Corp., a major mixed-use development company in Washington, D.C. with more than 3 million square feet under management. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he sits on the board of the National Center for Children and Families.
