Fabiana Clemente is an AI and data technology leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, having cofounded YData in 2019. At YData she was cofounder and CTO (previously CDO), where she combined data understanding, synthetic data, causality, and privacy-preserving technologies to make data actionable for organizations. Passionate about data, Fabiana has extensive experience leading technical teams across startups and large enterprises, building and scaling AI-driven products in highly regulated industries.
Her work spans applied research and production systems, including publications on synthetic data for ECGs, the impact of data profiling on model performance, and the role of data quality in trustworthy AI. An open source enthusiast, Fabiana leads the development and community of ydata-profiling, one of the most widely adopted open source solutions for exploratory data analysis and data quality understanding.
Fabiana is a frequent public speaker at conferences such as ODSC and PyData and was awarded “Founder of the Year” by the South Europe Startup Awards.
