Jason Waxman

Jason Waxman is a corporate vice president in the Data Center Group and general manager of the Data Center Solutions Group. DCG’s objective is to develop and deliver innovative solutions that are of high customer value, easy to deploy, and are cost efficient. In collaboration with the Enterprise & Government, Comms, and Cloud business units, DSG will provide a well-coordinated solutions approach across development, business plans and implementation, addressing each sectors unique requirements. DSG’s success will be measured by revenue growth achieved by providing customer-driven solutions which maximize Intel product content through technology and business model innovation. Waxman joined Intel in 1997 and has held several roles in enterprise and data center computing. Before leading the Cloud Platforms Group, he served as general manager of high-density computing and as marketing director of Intel Xeon platforms, leading the definition and introduction of enterprise platforms. Before coming to Intel, Waxman worked in strategic planning and manufacturing for Emerson Electric and as a management consultant. Waxman has been an industry advocate for standards in data center computing, including board roles in the Open Compute Foundation and the Server System Infrastructure Forum, as well as initiating Intel's role as technical advisor to the Open Data Center Alliance. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, a master's degree in operations research, and an MBA degree, all from Cornell University
