Nieves Cubo Mateo received an MS from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, concentrating in electronics and automatic engineering. After graduating, she worked in the Department of Bioengineering and Aerospace Engineering two years as a research assistant, studying tissue engineering in the framework of regenerative medicine and 3D printing. She’s continuing that research as a Ph.D. candidate at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
