
Peter Richards is a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager at MongoDB, where he owns positioning and go-to-market for a number of key AI initiatives. He partners with the product, sales, and developer relations teams to shape how MongoDB shows up in conversations about search, retrieval, and the modern AI stack.
He came to PMM the long way around, spending five years as a software engineer at startups in the finance and healthcare industries before earning his MBA from Columbia Business School. He still writes more Python than slides.
Peter holds dual BAs in Computer Science and American History from Columbia. He's a New York Marathon finisher, has summited Mt. Whitney, and will detour considerably for a good historical site. He can be reached via peter.net and LinkedIn.
