Bio

Andrew Stellman is a world-recognized expert in transforming and improving software organizations, teams, and code. He is an author and international speaker with top-selling books in software development and project management. He is a developer, architect, speaker, Agile coach, project manager, and expert in building better software. A six-time O’Reilly author (with two 4th editions), Andrew is focused on helping people learn to code, improve their projects, and enhance their teams. Over the past quarter-century, he’s architected and built large-scale software systems, managed international software teams, and consulted for companies, schools, and non-profit organizations. He has been referred to as “one of the industry’s best and brightest” (Dr. Dobb’s Journal, 2006). He’s had the privilege of working with some pretty amazing teams during that time, and likes to think that he’s learned a few things from them. Andrew is a PMP-certified project manager and project management trainer, a CSM-certified ScrumMaster, a PMI-ACP certified Agile coach, and practitioner.
