Ken Jones

Bio

Ken Jones is a Senior Editor at O'Reilly's Microsoft Press division. He plans, acquires, and develops books and products for the IT Professional and Microsoft certification audience. Prior to joining O'Reilly, Ken worked 14 years at Microsoft as a programmer writer and content developer on topics from COM+ to the Windows user experience. He spent the last 5 years at Microsoft Press, as an acquisitions editor for the Training Kit series and SQL Server titles.

Ken holds an MFA in creative writing from San Diego State University, which has helped him immensely in generating title approval docs. He lives in Portland, Oregon and is currently studying Tibetan and the electric guitar.
