Dynamic Learning: Dreamweaver CS3--New from O'Reilly Media

November 6, 2007

Filling a training gap on the heels of the largest software release in Adobe's 25-year history, O'Reilly Media and Aquent Graphics Institute (AGI) have developed the Dynamic Learning series to help creative professionals and enthusiasts discover how to maximize the new and improved features of Adobe Creative Suite (CS3).

Working in collaboration with O'Reilly Media, AGI’s latest publication, Dynamic Learning: Dreamweaver CS3 (O'Reilly, $44.99), not only covers what's new in Dreamweaver CS3--the lessons also provide essential Dreamweaver CS3 information and training for those creating rich web content. Written by Fred Gerantabee, product professional and certified Adobe trainer, and other members of the AGI training team (who have produced many of Adobe's own manuals), the comprehensive Dynamic Learning system is the equivalent of hiring your own Adobe expert.

Dynamic Learning: Dreamweaver CS3 follows the release of Dynamic Learning: Flash CS3 Professional and Dynamic Learning: Photoshop CS3, which have been widely praised by both educators and industry experts. Every Dynamic Learning book includes a DVD with lesson files and Digital Classroom video tutorials that demonstrate some of the techniques covered in each lesson.

The lessons in Dynamic Learning: Dreamweaver CS3 include clear explanations and demonstrations of how the software works, with full-color examples, easy-to-follow instructions, and professional tips. Self-study exercises and review questions at the end of each chapter reinforce the skills learned. In addition to the book and DVD, O’Reilly will also be offering free, downloadable guides for educators using the books in their courses.

Fred Gerantabee and AGI’s Adobe certified trainers are providing additional in-person training in Adobe CS3 via a 23-city, 5-country seminar series. For more information about the seminars, please visit www.agitraining.com/cs3.

Topics covered include:

  • What's new in Dreamweaver CS3
  • Dreamweaver CS3 Jumpstart
  • Creating web sites
  • Styling pages with CSS
  • Working with Snippets and library items
  • Using tables and frames
  • Adding Flash, video, and audio content
