I didn’t use regex a lot before reading this book but I definitely need its powerful approach to manage string and text processing effectively. As I finished reading this book, I realized how many simple and complex tasks you can elegantly accomplish using regex. The book is exceptional. It takes you in a fantastic journey. The first three chapter make you handle wisely the basic regex techniques, then it move you forward opening your vision to the full power of this approach. The book manage the general as the specific stuffs in a very effective way. Therefore, the content and material is quite dense and the reader must deal with it by analyzing in small chunks.
