I found it helpful to show lots of sample code and then show how the JavaScript compiler interprets it. One thing I learned is if you declare a function foo then var foo. Var foo is considered a duplicate and then ignored. Another thing I would like to point out that is not bad not good is that most code variables and functions are named foo bar and baz. Kind of wish there was more particles examples but this book manly focuses on scopes and not everyday coding. Overall, I must commend the author to take a dry subject on scopes and write a book on the first of its kind. Full Review  >
