This book would be excellent for a advanced course on software development. The students would benefit from it a great deal. You are expected to already know Python, so there are better books, or even web sites available for people starting out. You can easily follow the process the authors are discussing, but it would be a shame to miss out on their code. Buy this book and improve yourself. Full Review >

The book is a high level explanation of Oracle. It is not going into the details of Oracle, but it goes over all of it, the different Oracle versions from the cheapest, free, to the most extreme versions, such as cloud systems.
The authors are incredibly experienced in Oracle, they have worked on Oracle, and on previous versions of this book, for many years.
