UX for lean start-ups is a pleasant reading, written with sense of humour. Is a book that spoke directly to the Validation Process that is the base of the Lean Startup movement. It gives you the necessary tools to create amazing and very complete Hypothesis and validate it. You don't need to be a designer, just be very committed to improve you product or service.
