Description:

This is a series of three webcasts so please be sure to register for all three. In this second series: Browser cache is a critical component of web performance, but it is has many flaws. It's not well understood, offers no scriptable context, and is often too small - especially on mobile.

In this webcast, we'll show how you can create a new and improved version of the browser cache, built on HTML5 localStorage. We'll show how this scriptable cache makes mobile cache actually work, and give desktop cache a real boost. After getting step-by-step instructions, discussing simple and advanced cases, and giving various examples, you'll have all the knowledge you need to create your own modern cache.
