This webcast is based on topics found in the book Getting Started with Google Guava. We are also going to look at the concepts found in the Guava library that can guide us to write more effective code. Since many key features of Guava can also be found in the recently released Java 8, we'll explain how these features are useful whether you are using Guava in conjunction with Java 6/7 or using Java 8 by itself.
