Thomas Ask

Bio

I like to design stuff. I enjoy the creative forces bouncing around and popping into my mind as I stare at a blank sheet of paper. Imagination tempered by science, all fed by artistic interest and curiosity, has given me the good fortune to design dozens of commercialized products and mechanical systems. I worked nearly twenty years in industry as a practicing engineer, including as senior engineer at Ingersoll-Rand and vice president of engineering at Odin Systems International. I am currently professor of industrial design at Penn College but still spend much time actually designing and making things.
