Peter Gedeck

Bio

Peter Gedeck, Senior Data Scientist at Collaborative Drug Discovery, specializes in the development of machine learning algorithms to predict biological and physicochemical properties of drug candidates. He also teaches statistical learning at the School of Data Science of the University of Virginia. He is co-author of several books on machine learning and statistics and published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles. He earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg in Germany and studied Mathematics at Fernuniversitaet Hagen, Germany
