Overview
In this Automating Design with SolidWorks and DriveWorksXpress training course, expert author Matt Perez will teach you all about design automation using DriveWorksXpress, which is found inside SolidWorks. This course is designed for users that have some SolidWorks experience, but no experience with DriveWorks is required.
You will start by learning how to gain access to DriveWorksXpress, and then jump into seeing how to set up the model. Matt will then show you how to create a database, and teaches you about the capture process, including how to capture models, dimensions, and features. This video tutorial will also cover topics such as forms, rules, how to run and check your model, and capturing and working with assemblies.
Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will fully understand the process of using DriveWorksXpress, and be able to apply this knowledge to your own design automation projects. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.
