Overview
In this Microsoft Windows 8.1 training course, expert author Erin Olsen teaches you about the new features you will find in the latest version of Windows. This course is designed for users that are already familiar with Windows 8, or have taken the Infinite Skills Learning Windows 8 training course.
You will start by learning about how to make Windows 8.1 your own, including how to control Windows and Apps notifications, personalize the lock screen, and establishing quiet hours. Erin will then teach you how to find and use the matured Windows 8 apps, including using the updated calendar and the new lifestyle and reading list apps. Finally, this video tutorial will teach you how to connect to networks, the Internet, and the cloud, as well as how to keep your family and data safe and apply enhanced privacy settings.
Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will understand how to make use of new features that are available in Windows 8.1. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.
