How to overcome unexpected roadblocks during cloud native migration
Moving to a cloud native ecosystem offers many benefits, from cost savings to scalability. Whether you’ve just started on your cloud native journey or you’ve already containerized your first app and pushed it to Kubernetes, preparing fully for cloud native migration is crucial.

JJ Asghar
JJ Asghar is a developer advocate representing the IBM Cloud all over the world. He mainly focuses on the IBM Kubernetes Service and OpenShift, helping companies and users successfully onboard to the cloud native ecosystem. He’s also known in the DevOps tooling ecosystem and generalized Linux communities. He dove headfirst into Fedora after IBM bought Red Hat but still secretly wants FreeBSD everywhere. If he isn’t creating automation to make his work streamlined, he’s building the groundwork to do just that. And he’s always trying to become a better web technology developer, though normally he just uses Bash to get the job done. JJ lives and grew up in Austin, Texas. A father and husband, he’s trying to learn to balance his natural nerdiness with family life. He enjoys a good strong dark ale, a hoppy IPA, some team-building Artemis, and epic Gloomhaven campaigning.
