The period falls between parentheses failing to mark the end of the sentence:
This book uses the Promise API for the version of JavaScript known as ECMA Script 6 (ES6.)

Or is this just a matter of style?

The errata substitutes getBalance ... for ajax ... in Example 6-6. Same changes in Example 6-7?

I refer here to, which indicates this book is 94 pages. The last page of the index in my printed copy is p. 83. The last page of material is p. 79.

Example 5-3, function goodfunc, last line of code, "image.onload = reject"

Did the author intend this line, like that matching line in function badfunc to refer to "onerror"? If so, that would make the line, "image.onerror = reject;".

fourth line, second word of new sentence, "recursive"

Does the author intend this sentence to indicate "The _on-demand_ approach adds to the chain on demand ..."? I suspect so!
