Canon bringt diesen Herbst die lang ersehnten spiegellosen Kameras EOS R5 und R6 heraus. Die R5 ist mit € 4.500,- und 45 MP das Profimodell, die R6 spricht mit € 2.600,- und 20 MP weniger investitionsfreudige Anwenderinnen an (weitere Unterschiede: R5 ist bei Video leistungsfähiger, hat Schulterdisplay). Wie auch bei Nikons Modellen der Z-Reihe, können Canons R-Bodys über einen Adapter die »alten« Canon-Objektive weiter verwenden. Wir erwarten, dass viele Besitzerinnen einer digitalen Canon-Spiegelreflex über kurz oder lang auf die neuen spiegellosen Modelle umsteigen werden (Vorteile: kleiner, leichter, moderner). Für diese Nutzer*innen ist dieses Buch (sprich: kein überflüssiges Grundwissen, dass die Leute eh schon haben). Canon-Profi Martin Schwabe erläutert genau die Funktionsweise, den Einsatz und die neuen Features der spiegellosen Kamera. Neben der individuellen Anpassung von Tasten, Menüs und Programmplätzen legt er besonderes Augenmerk auf die verschiedenen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten und den praktischen Einsatz des Autofokus. Die leistungsfähigen Video-Features beschreibt er in einem abschließenden Kapitel.
