So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

• Determine which visual aids meet your needs.

• Master different types of visual aids.
Chances are you’ll use at least one type of media to help guide and support the facilitation process. In fact, selecting the media to use is one of the most significant decisions that you will make. Keep in mind that the media selected must support the session goals and facilitation process. Don’t treat the facilitation of a meeting as an opportunity to show off the company’s shiny new toy.
Visual aids can help to make bland, passive sessions come to life by getting participants up and moving around as they brainstorm ideas on flipcharts or whiteboards. Presentation software ...
