Tip 29: Import Projects into the NetBeans IDE
There are several ways to import existing projects into the NetBeans IDE.
To import NetBeans projects from older NetBeans IDE versions, just use File > Open Project. NetBeans IDE 6.0 recognizes projects from NetBeans IDE 4.0 and later automatically.
To import standard Java SE applications, choose File > New Project, and select Java Project with Existing Sources. The New Java Project wizard will prompt you for a new project name and paths to the existing project sources and tests. ...
