Background texture

In this C H A P T E R   we’ll create a fantasy illustration of a horned devil wielding a handful of shiny, snake-like objects.

Whether or not you want to create this type of scene, the C H A P T E R   is instructive in that it deals with a variety of ways of making glistening, shiny objects. We’ll look at all the techniques involved, starting with the background texture.

Although it may seem like a complex background, it’s easy to create using just a few filters and effects.
