Since 1986 when Ignacio
Malet, Fernando
Zallo, and Antonio
Miró started out, their
company has had
nothing but success:
it was awarded the
Cristóbal Balenciaga
Prize for Best Spanish
Designer in 1987; it
designed the wardrobe
for Barcelona Olympic
Games staff members
in 1992; it designed the
new curtain for the stage
at the Liceu opera house
in 1997, it received the
FAD Medal for career
in 2000; and won the
2001 prize for best
F/W collection at the
Pasarela Cibeles runway
shows in Madrid in 2001.
Antonio Miró collections
have also appeared
at numerous fashion
runway events in Paris,
Milan, Florence, Tokyo,
and New York. Antonio
Miró currently designs
men’s and women’s
collections, sold and
distributed directly to
his own stores in Spain
(Barcelona, Madrid, and
Bilbao) and in Japan.
