Be Enthusiastic

What does it mean to “be enthusiastic?” Let’s examine the word, “enthuse.” It comes from the old Greek “en theos.” If you know anything about religious words, you know that “theos” refers to God, theology, theosophy, and so on. (There’s also a word for no God, “a-theist!”) According to the Greeks, if you are “en” theos, you are “with” God (“en” meaning with). Well, you don’t have to be religious to be with God because the concept also suggests “energy” or “spirit.” We all know people who are energetic and spirited. We love to be around them. They have lots of life.
