15-Minute Painting: Effortless Watercolor

Gestural movements of figures seem to jump off the page with transparent washes of watercolor paint. Hyper-realism can also be obtained with watercolor paint; but for these projects, we will focus on quick gestural sketches and touches of paint.

Supplies

• Watercolor paper (block or secured sheet on board); I used an 8” x 10” and 9” x 12” block
• Medium and small round brushes
• Medium flat brush
• Liner brush (optional)
• Watercolor paints
