If you believe inspiration, great leadership, and a package of fringe benefits will keep people on the job, try telling your people that you really care about them and that they are important to you, but that you will no longer be able to pay them. Effective immediately, there will be no more paychecks, but you would sure like everybody to stick around and continue to do their work.
