Your Inspiration = Their Perspiration
The ripple effect of a leader’s inspiration, enthusiasm, and optimism is awesome. So is the impact of cynicism and pessimism. Leaders who whine and blame spread the same behaviors among their colleagues. I’m talking about not blindly accepting organizational stupidity, poor performance, or lack of competence with a “What, me? Worry?” attitude. I’m talking about a gung-ho attitude that says, “We can change things here. We can achieve awesome goals. We can be the best. We’re going to be the best.”

“The power of the positive attitude is infectious.” Write this on a 3 × 5 card. Review it daily. Consider posting it as a sign or poster in the workspace to help inspire others.
