Adding Shapes

Shapes are drawing objects that you can manipulate in many ways to create unusual and eye-catching effects. You can also use shapes as containers for text, which allows you to create callouts, pull quotes, advertising blurbs, and so on, producing all sorts of interestingly shaped special effects. Shapes are available in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, and in the Outlook Editor.
