Jody Dole (b. 1955) began his commercial career in 1989 with a worldwide advertising campaign for Smirnoff Vodka. Utilizing a unique film that offered high ISO speeds that also had grain and what would be called “artifacts” today, he actually shot the images on the family kitchen table.
