Stakeholder management

  • Why use it? Stakeholder management helps to identify the interests of groups and individuals that are important to the company and this in turn helps determine how to act upon them.
  • What does it do? Stakeholder management consists of a set of tools to assess stakeholders and to analyse their interests and their relation with the organisation. Most important in this is the assessment of the power of the stakeholder.
  • When to use it? With stakeholder management, a company can form an idea of: who the most important (dominant) stakeholders are, how stakeholders relate to each other, how the various stakeholders move in their relationship with the company, what influencing power the stakeholders (should) have on ...
