In this chapter, you’ll explore music in video games. In particular, you’ll use MuseScore to create a short composition and export it into your Unity project. Music has become as important in video games as it is in film and television. It is unusual to not have music in a film, and the same holds true for video games. Music is an essential part of the atmosphere and feeling of a game, though for most games the game is playable without hearing the music. Especially in mobile games, the music is not heard by the players when they are playing in a noisy environment without access to headphones.
