History of Spain or matters of Fate
We studied at the Technical University of Madrid. Diego and I studied the entire degree together and we were also in the same class as kids, from the nursery playground to COU, at the San Agustín School in Madrid. Later as architects, we even crossed paths in the army! We were both at the Cáceres camp. During university we would spend many hours, days, and nights in a laundry room that we used as a Studio. It was on the rooftop of my parents’ building, a 3x3 metre space sepa-rated from the other laundry rooms with a curtain. We used to call it ‘Estudio Zarco’. The germinal studio.
