It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 2. 123D Sculpt+
123D Sculpt+ is our version of an evil scientist’s laboratory. It’s a beginner-friendly, free character-modeling app for use on iPad or an Android tablet. If you don’t have an iPad or Android tablet, try using the sculpting features in 123D Meshmixer, covered later in this book, to do similar work.
In Sculpt+ you can create a skeleton, cover it with digital clay, shape and add texture to details like faces and limbs, and then export your creation for full-color 3D printing. You can do further design and detailing in pro modeling programs like Mudbox, Maya, 3ds Max, or ZBrush, and finally render it into live environments for sharing in the 123D Sculpt+ community.
