Principal photography is the harder task of stereo cinematography, and this subject could fill up a whole book by itself. The point is, if you get it wrong at the camera stage, all the following steps will turn into a nightmare. Furthermore, the usual damage control tools that work in 2D to correct dam- aged footage will not work in 3D or will require tremendous additional man- power to look nice. Perfect stereo photography is not an easy task, and we’ll see how you can approach it and, eventually, reach it.
