Chapter 123D Printing fig0012

I am going to share a workflow of using third-party 3D programs alongside Photoshop to print your 3D creation. This chapter is not a step–by-step tutorial. It is designed to shed light into good workflow habits when printing your work.

In the examples you will see a bust of me that began in LightWave 3D and then was exported into Zbrush. Zbrush is often used to further detail a 3D object created in other programs. When finished, it is exported into Photoshop to prepare it for the 3D printer.
