15. More techniques

In the original render for the opening illustration for this section, the glass came out far too dull. But it had taken all night to render; I didn’t want to have to do it all over again. However – this is Photoshop, after all, so we can use any of the Photoshop techniques to fix a visual problem.

After doing a Select All, I used Edit > Copy Merged followed by Paste to make a flat copy of the render.
