Fitting the Biped to the Mesh

Once the biped has been created, you have to rotate and resize body parts to make the biped fit the mesh. This is done so that when the biped is associated with the mesh later on, each biped part will be associated with the appropriate part of the mesh.

Note

You must have Figure mode turned on when posing the biped, or you’ll lose the pose when you animate the biped.

Caution: When you’re fitting the biped to the mesh, Figure mode must be turned on. This tells Character Studio that you are posing the biped (as opposed to animating it). This is extremely important. Don’t forget to do this, or you’ll suffer the frustration of spending perhaps hours posing a biped only to find that all your work was wasted.
