Spectrum flexibility is, as mentioned in Chapter 7, a key feature of LTE radio access and is set out in the LTE design targets [10]. It consists of several components, including deployment in different-sized spectrum allocations and deployment in diverse frequency ranges, both in paired and unpaired frequency bands.
There are a number of frequency bands identified for mobile use and specifically for IMT today.
