Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Services
Abstract
In addition to unicast transmission to individual users, LTE can also provide Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Services (MBMS) such as mobile TV. The details of MBMS transmission in LTE are the topic of this chapter, including single-frequency network operation and scheduling of different MBMS services.
